Meta stated that Muse AI can only read messages on Mac with the user's authorization, and users can revoke this permission at any time. The communication representative for Meta, Andy Stone, stated on X that the integration is “completely voluntary,” and users must enable both full disk access and the message connector options for Muse to be able to read message content.
