According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin.com, the Zano blockchain had to be rolled back for 30 days due to a problem with over $200 million in illegal tokens. Zano revealed that there were verification deficiencies in the hard and fork introduced on gateway. On August 29, attackers minted approximately 18.4 million Zano at one time, and on September 25, they minted the same amount again using the same method to create FUSD. The project team stated that the value of these illegal tokens exceeded $200 million, and potential affected activities involved 117,941 outputs and 65,301 transactions. The chain state has been restored from block 3,833,000, and the gateway and addresses have been disabled. The affected balances will be fully restored, while the Zano supply and issuance plan remain unchanged.
