Bitmart Announces Asset Exit Plan, Users Can Choose from Three Methods
2026-10-01 21:53:42
According to CoinMeta, Bitmart has released a preliminary intention plan to address the $319.5 million shortfall caused by the hacker attack in December 2021 and the recent liquidity pressures. After evaluating a liquidity plan of $10 million, management believes it is insufficient to cover the shortfall and intends to implement a plan approved by the court, which will convert users' balances at the weighted average price from July 26, 2026, to the specified recording date. Users can choose to receive their allocation directly, exchange for compensation tokens, or exchange for extended tokens. The Bitmart team will solicit opinions from the top 50 users over the next three to four weeks.
