U.S. initial jobless claims lower than expected, indicating a still-strong labor market

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coin Bureau, the number of people claiming unemployment benefits in the United States at the beginning of this week was 197,000, which is lower than the expected 201,000 and the same as the previous figure of 197,000. The continued low number of unemployment benefit claims indicates that the U.S. labor market remains strong. Combined with yesterday's inflation data, which also fell short of expectations, these figures suggest that inflation is cooling down while employment has not deteriorated significantly. This is a "constructive" combination for both the stock and crypto markets. Moderate inflation leaves room for the Federal Reserve to ease its policies, while strong employment data reduces concerns about a recession.
