Bitcoin breaks through a 13-year pattern, Q3 rises by 42.71%

CoinMeta data: According to BeInCrypto, Bitcoin (BTC) achieved a 42.71% increase in the third quarter of 2026, ending three consecutive quarters of losses. The closing prices in July, August, and September were all positive, marking a first in history. BTC is currently trading at $83,702, with a 0.15% decline over the past 24 hours. During this period, BTC rose by 7.36%, 24.95%, and 6.33% in July, August, and September, respectively. Moreover, the increase in August was the largest; from August 17th to 23rd, BTC gained $14,775, which is the largest single-week increase in dollars on record. Nevertheless, BTC is still about 4% lower than its opening price of $87,498 in 2026.
