According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Fortune, John Waldron is considered to be Goldman Sachs' next CEO, despite the impression he gives of being "the least Wall Street-like" person. Waldron currently serves as Goldman Sachs' Chief Operating Officer and President, having worked at the firm for over 26 years. The Goldman Sachs board of directors is discussing the plan to have Waldron replace the current CEO David Solomon, and this appointment is expected to be approved in the coming months. Waldron's experience includes holding several key positions at Goldman Sachs and he has played an important role in driving the bank's artificial intelligence initiatives.
