U.S. Personal Income and Expenditure Data for August 2026 Released

CoinMeta data: According to data released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis ( BEA ) of the United States, personal income increased by $66.6 billion in August 2026 (a monthly increase of 0.2%). Disposable personal income ( DPI ) increased by $68.6 billion after deducting current personal taxes (an increase of 0.3%), and personal consumption expenditure ( PCE ) increased by $190.8 billion (an increase of 0.9%). Total personal expenditure (including PCE , personal interest payments, and personal transfer payments) increased by $190.7 billion in August. Personal savings amounted to $990.2 billion, and the personal savings rate (as a percentage of disposable personal income) was 4.1%.
