CoinMeta data: In September 2026, the Solana and Robinhood chains stood out amidst the surge in crypto fees. By the end of the third quarter, crypto economic activity reached new highs, with a total of $3.3 billion in fees generated during that period, and in September alone, $1.44 billion in revenue was generated from applications. The Robinhood chain generated $368 million in fees in September, becoming one of the top chains in terms of fees for that month. Although the fees for Robinhood were significant, its application revenue was only $86.8 million. Almost all chains saw an increase in application revenue in September, with the introduction of new revenue-sharing models and reflective tokens driving a resurgence in activities on the chains.
