Users will be able to open Pokémon trading card packs on their mobile phones, and each time they draw, they will receive a physical card. This feature was previewed on September 28th, and Coinbase indicated that users will be able to “tear open” the packs on their phones and decide how to handle the received physical cards. Although the exact launch date has not been announced yet, Coinbase only states that the product will be launched “soon.” There is still limited information regarding which Pokémon series will be available, the pricing of the card packs, where the physical cards will be stored, and the initial market strategy.
