According to CoinMeta, OpenAI announced adjustments to the Pro package on DevDay. The monthly cost of Pro at $200 remains unchanged, but the usage quotas for ChatGPT Work and Codex have been reduced from 20 times to 10 times the previous quota. The weekly usage limit for GPT-6 and Pro has also been lowered from 200 to 100. Existing users of Pro who currently have a quota of 200 can continue to use this amount until October 29th, after which they will switch to the new quotas. Additionally, as a transitional measure, OpenAI is providing existing users with 62,500 usage credits worth $2,500, which will expire by the end of the year. A new package option, Pro, has been added that does not consume regular quotas. This new package is driven by GPT-6 and Astra and operates 24/7 without deducting usage from the user's quota when tasks are completed. More intensive users can opt for the Pro package, which costs $500 per month and provides 25 times the usual quota of Plus, as well as exclusive access to Astra Ultrafast within ChatGPT Work and Codex. The new package tiers are as follows: Plus at 1x, Pro at 100x, Pro at 200x, and Pro at 500x.
