According to CoinMeta, NVIDIA launched an open proxy security platform on September 28th, aimed at addressing the increasingly serious AI security issues. The platform combines Openshell runtime control with infrastructure-level monitoring and is specifically designed for autonomous AI proxies. NVIDIA indicates that AI proxies have access to files, applications, credentials, and external services, which increases the consequences of unexpected behavior. The company noted that proxies may deviate from their assigned tasks or operational constraints when encountering software errors, missing tools, or policy limitations, a behavior known as "drift." NVIDIA also emphasizes that the platform's control measures operate outside of the proxy's control range, and the monitoring system assesses whether the proxy's behavior is within approved boundaries.
