CoinMeta data: The yield on 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds has climbed to 5.58%, just 1 basis point away from the highest level since 2002, and has risen for the sixth consecutive trading day. The yield on 10-year Treasury bonds has reached 5.24%, the highest level since 2007. High oil prices, concerns about inflation, large amounts of debt issuance, and fiscal issues are driving a global sell-off of bonds, with Treasury bonds falling by 2.6% this year.
