CoinMeta Data: Franklin Templeton announces the introduction of tokenized money market fund shares into the Bybit over-the-counter collateral program. Eligible clients can pledge these shares to obtain trading credit denominated in USDT or USDC. This arrangement allows clients to retain the earnings of the funds while supporting activities on crypto exchanges. The net assets of the related tokenized shares are approximately $686 million. Franklin Templeton issues these shares through its blockchain-based record-keeping and transfer platform Benji. The fund primarily invests in U.S. government securities, cash, and repurchase agreements backed by these assets, with the aim of maintaining a value of $1 per share.
