Klobuchar stated that she is still in communication with Republican senators and hopes to pass strong AI security measures by the end of this year. However, it is still unclear whether the senators will be able to propose a bill that receives bipartisan support before the elections. Cruz responded to this by saying, "It's possible. But no decision has been made yet."
