According to CoinMeta, BTSE Bhutan today announced that it has obtained a financial services license (FSL) issued by the Gelephu Financial Services Office (GFSo). This license allows it to operate digital asset trading services within Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC). User registration will begin in the coming weeks, with BTC / USDT and ETH / USDT trading pairs being launched initially. More trading pairs will be introduced later on based on the platform's listing framework and regulatory requirements. All customer assets will be held under the company's licensed custody arrangements in accordance with GFSo requirements. BTSE Bhutan, the CEO of BTSE Bhutan, stated that obtaining the financial services license is an important milestone for the company's global launch of its retail trading platform.
