According to CoinMeta, Spain has confirmed that crypto assets held in self-owned wallets are exempt from foreign exchange asset disclosure requirements. However, if the crypto assets are held with a foreign custodian and exceed 50,000 euros, they still need to be disclosed. In addition, assets that are purchased on a foreign exchange and completely sold within the same year also do not require declaration.
