According to CoinMeta, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal addressed the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday, stating that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and countries in the region have been subjected to attacks by Iran, with security resources and civilian and economic facilities becoming targets. The Kingdom reaffirmed its right to protect its own security and sovereignty, as well as that of its citizens and residents and national resources, and emphasized the necessity of ensuring freedom of navigation in all international waterways, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, the Strait of Mandeb, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden. He noted that energy security depends on the ability of the energy system to withstand and adapt to disruptions. Saudi Arabia ensures the continuity of energy supply through long-term investment in infrastructure and oil reserves outside the region, and supports the diversification of energy supply routes and freedom of navigation.
