According to CoinMeta, Bitget announced on the platform that withdrawals will be resumed in phases starting from September 28th, and the related security vulnerabilities have been fixed. The vulnerabilities involved in the security incident on September 24th have been identified and repaired. The team is conducting additional verifications and security checks on the withdrawal infrastructure, with Mandiant and SlowMist continuing to assist with the investigation. The temporary suspension of withdrawals is a security measure and does not affect the availability of users' assets; user account balances remain unchanged. The Bitget protection fund will cover the financial impacts of this platform-wide incident. The specific times for resuming withdrawals are as follows: September 28th at 8:00 AM (UTC) for Bitcoin network withdrawals; September 29th at 8:00 AM (UTC) for Ethereum withdrawals on the Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism networks; September 30th at 8:00 AM (UTC) for USDT withdrawals on the Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron networks; October 2nd at 8:00 AM (UTC) for withdrawals of other tokens, fiat currencies, and P2P. Trading and deposit services will continue to operate as usual, and users do not need to take any action in advance.
