According to CoinMeta, today marks the quarterly option expiration period, with 167,000 BTC options expiring, having a notional value of approximately $14.04 billion. The strike prices for put, call, and ratio are 0.87, with a maximum pain point of $79,000. At the same time, 789,000 ETH options expire, with a notional value of around $2.1 billion, and the strike prices for put, call, and ratio are 0.67, with a maximum pain point of $2,380. These expiring contracts account for 32% and 40% of the total open positions in BTC and ETH options, respectively.
