According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure company under Stripe, co-founder of Bridge and also CEO Zach Abrams, has announced that they will leave Stripe to focus full-time on Open Standard. Abrams stated that during the promotion of stablecoin applications in Bridge, business development was limited by the economic models and incentive mechanisms of the stablecoin issuers. Open Standard hopes to address this issue and enable enterprises using stablecoins to participate in the economic benefits and development of the stablecoin ecosystem. Stripe completed the acquisition of Bridge in 2025.
