According to CoinMeta, as reported by Crypto News Flash, the holding of cryptocurrencies among wealthy investors has become quite common, but only a few consider digital assets to be a part of their long-term finances. The Nexo "2026 Digital Wealth Future Survey" revealed that 66.7% of 1,000 wealthy investors from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Argentina hold cryptocurrencies, while their new Crypto Integration Index (CII) scored an average of only 4.83 out of 10. The survey results indicate a different stage of adoption of cryptocurrencies compared to simple holding surveys. It was also found that nearly one-fifth of respondents expect digital assets to become the largest source of their personal wealth in the next decade. Nexo stated that CII is their proprietary tool for measuring the role of crypto assets in finances, and a higher score does not necessarily mean a better strategy or performance. The survey shows that although the purchase of cryptocurrencies is quite common among wealthy individuals, using them as a permanent part of retirement assets and traditional investments remains relatively uncommon.
