Visa and Payward extend their stablecoin credit card cooperation with Reap to over 100 markets globally

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Visa and Payward's payment company, Reap, have announced an expansion of their collaboration. They will extend the stablecoin-linked Visa credit card program to over 100 markets worldwide, covering Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reap will provide card issuance, settlement, compliance, and operational infrastructure, and has already been using stablecoins to settle payment obligations with Visa in the Asia-Pacific region. Visa stated that its global stablecoin settlement volume has currently reached approximately $20 billion per year, a 15-fold increase from the previous year, with more than 160 stablecoin card projects globally.
