South Korean brokers KB Securities and Securitize, Optimism sign MOU to advance tokenized securities

According to CoinMeta, South Korean brokers KB Securities, Securitize, and Optimism have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), planning to promote tokenized securities to institutional investors in South Korea, with the intention of using the OP mainnet as the on-chain infrastructure. KB Securities will be responsible for product initiation, issuance, and distribution, Securitize will provide tokenization, fund management, and transfer infrastructure, while Optimism is in charge of on-chain technical support. As of July 2026, Securitize reported that the scale of its tokenized assets has exceeded 5 billion US dollars.
