CoinMeta data: A study by Visa shows that Americans are willing to use stablecoins, provided that these stablecoins offer bank-level protection. The study found that when it is assumed that stablecoins come with bank-level fraud protection and deposit insurance, the proportion of Americans willing to use stablecoins for international transfers rises from 36% to 56%. However, 56% of American respondents stated that they have never heard of stablecoins, and many mistakenly believe that their prices fluctuate like those of Bitcoin. Visa also points out that the providers of stablecoins are important as well; when stablecoins are offered through existing financial providers, the willingness to use them increases to 45%. In addition, Visa indicates that the annual settlement volume of its stablecoins has reached over $20 billion.
