According to CoinMeta, the European Securities and Markets Authority announced that it will launch a strategic supervision priority for artificial intelligence and tokenization in the EU in 2027. Regulatory authorities across Europe will assess the current status of tokenized applications, document the use of artificial intelligence and tokenization by companies in investor-related products and processes, and conduct preliminary inspections on the companies most affected. This priority will be carried out in parallel with the EU strategic supervision priority for network and operational resilience, which was launched in 2025.
