According to CoinMeta, the report "2026" published by Visa indicates that if stablecoins are equipped with bank-level fraud protection and deposit insurance, consumers' willingness to use them would increase from 36% to 56%, and if provided through financial institutions, this figure would rise to 45%. The report notes that 56% of respondents have never heard of stablecoins, and 64% of respondents have more trust in payment providers than in the technology itself. Currently, the total global supply of US dollar-pegged stablecoins exceeds $295 billion, of which USDT accounts for about $183.4 billion, and USDC accounts for about $76 billion. The annual settlement volume of Visa stablecoins has surpassed $20 billion, representing a growth of over 15 times compared to a year ago. (Source: The Block)
