Binance resumes withdrawals today: The first phase covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
Binance stated that following a record-breaking hacker attack last week, the platform will resume withdrawals starting from Sunday, November 1st. The first phase is expected to begin between 06:00 and 09:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which corresponds to 11:30 am to 2:30 pm in Indian Standard Time.
The exchange stated that as various assets and networks pass security checks, access rights will be gradually restored. Users should expect some temporary delays.
The first phase covers 15 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and Solana.
Binance stated that there is sufficient support for the balances of all 10 major digital assets. The top-up service remained available throughout the entire period.
The exchange stated that approximately 95% of the amount affected by this vulnerability exploit has been covered by the platform, and all losses will be borne by Binance itself, without being passed on to customers.
