The following segmental performance is disclosed on a non-GAAP basis. For necessary adjustments regarding non-GAAP and comparable GAAP indicators, please refer to the end of this press release.

Consumers and Insurance Division (C&I)

In the third quarter of 2026, C&I's adjusted pre-tax profit was $232 million, and the adjusted net profit was $174 million; in the same period last year, these figures were $303 million and $227 million respectively. In the third quarter of 2026, the adjusted earnings per share were $1.51, compared to $1.90 in the same period last year.

Management uses capital generation as a measure of business performance, which is defined as the amount after adjusting for C&I (capital and interest) and deducting the provision for losses on C&I financing receivables, followed by tax adjustments. The net change after these deductions is also taking into account the net write-offs of C&I during the period. In the third quarter of 2026, capital generation amounted to $284 million, which is higher than the $272 million in the same period of the previous year. The growth was mainly driven by an increase in receivables, but it was partially offset by higher net write-offs this quarter compared to the same period last year.

As of September 30, 2026, the managed accounts receivable amounted to $28.1 billion, which includes loans provided for partners in the sale of entire loan packages as well as auto finance loans initiated by third parties, representing a 9% increase from $25.9 billion as of September 30, 2025.

In the third quarter of 2026, the total amount of consumer loans issued was 4.5 billion US dollars, representing a 17% increase from 3.9 billion US dollars in the same period of the previous year.

Total revenue, including interest income and other total revenues, amounted to 1.7 billion US dollars, representing a 7% increase from 1.6 billion US dollars in the same period of the previous year. Among this, interest income for the third quarter of 2026 was 1.5 billion US dollars, which is a 7% increase from 1.4 billion US dollars in the same period of the previous year, with the growth mainly driven by an increase in accounts receivable.

In the third quarter of 2026, interest expenses amounted to $345 million, an 8% increase from $320 million in the same period of the previous year. This increase was due to the expansion of the average debt level to support the growth in accounts receivable, as well as a rise in the average cost of funds.

In the third quarter of 2026, the provision for losses on financing receivables was $615 million, which is higher than the $488 million in the same period of the previous year. During the third quarter of 2026, the provision for losses on financing receivables increased by $146 million, mainly driven by the growth in receivables.

Operating expenses in the third quarter of 2026 amounted to $453 million, representing a 6% increase from $427 million in the same period of the previous year, reflecting growth in accounts receivable as well as strategic investments in the business.

Financing and Liquidity

As of September 30, 2026, the company's outstanding principal debt balance was $24.4 billion, of which 52% was secured. The company held $936 million in cash and cash equivalents, including $268 million that was deposited with regulated insurance subsidiaries or used for other business activities and could not be utilized for general corporate purposes.

Cash and cash equivalents, coupled with the company's unutilized $1 billion unsecured corporate line of credit, $6.5 billion revolving channel financing, and the unutilized commitment limits under credit card variable financing notes, as well as $12.3 billion unsecured receivables, provide the company with sufficient liquidity resources.

Use of non-GAAP financial indicators

The company uses a segmental accounting basis to report the operating results of the Consumer and Insurance segments. This basis: (i) reflects the company’s method of allocating interest expenses and operating costs, in order to reflect the way the company assesses its business results; ( ii ) does not include the impact of purchase accounting (the elimination of premiums/discounts on financing receivables and long-term debt at the time of acquisition, as well as amortization/appreciation over future periods). The adjusted pre-tax profit (loss) of the Consumer and Insurance segments, the adjusted net profit (loss) of the Consumer and Insurance segments, and the adjusted earnings (loss) per share of the Consumer and Insurance segments are key indicators for assessing business performance. The adjusted pre-tax profit (loss) of the Consumer and Insurance segments refers to the pre-tax profit (loss) calculated on a segmental accounting basis, excluding net losses arising from debt repurchases and repayments, restructuring costs, and the impact of other items and strategic activities. The company believes that these non- GAAP financial indicators are helpful in assessing the profitability of these segments.

The company also uses two non-GAAP financial indicators, namely Pre-tax Capital Generation and Capital Generation, as key performance indicators for this division. Pre-tax Capital Generation refers to the pre-tax profit of the Consumer and Insurance Division after adjustments mentioned above, taking into account the net write-offs of the Consumer and Insurance Division for the period, while excluding changes in the provision for losses on financing receivables of the same division. Capital Generation refers to the after-tax impact of Pre-tax Capital Generation. The company believes that these non-GAAP indicators are helpful in assessing the capital created during the period and their impact on the company's overall capital adequacy. The company considers that the sum of its provisions and shareholders' equity represents the company's loss-absorbing capacity.

The company uses these non-GAAP indicators when evaluating performance. In addition, these non-GAAP indicators are consistent with the performance targets set in the OMH executive compensation plan. The aforementioned non-GAAP financial indicators should serve as a supplement to the pre-tax profit (loss), net profit, or other financial performance indicators under the GAAP framework, rather than replacing or being superior to these indicators.
