LogiX is now independent from the construction audit business that created it. Owners and their consultants can operate the platform using their own staff and methods. What used to take several days of sample-based reviews can now be completed in just a few minutes, with line-by-line inspections.

Greenville, South Carolina, October 29th / PRNewswire / -- Fort Hill LogiX is a payment application review platform created by Fort Hill Associates and currently in the patent application process. It is now operating as an independent company and is open to capital project owners as well as the advisory teams that work for them. LogiX originates from the construction audit projects of Fort Hill Associates and continues to leverage the expertise and methodology of Fort Hill.

This split response addresses the first question raised by other companies upon seeing this platform: Who is viewing our data, and where is the data stored? As an independent company, LogiX can provide services to the internal audit teams of property owners, the construction departments of universities, or consulting firms of competitors, without any party having to entrust their work to competitors. Audit and consulting firms can use their own methodologies and professional judgment.

The common elements are technology and a consistent methodology. Professional responsibilities and decision-making remain the sole domain of those who originally held such responsibilities and made such decisions.

LogiX operates as an independent entity, with its own employee access control and tenant-level data isolation. Fort Hill Associates is not able to view or access the data of other LogiX customers.

LogiX is aimed at solving the problems faced by Fort Hill itself: there are too many pages of documents supported for payment applications, and there is not enough time to verify each line. LogiX includes test procedures developed based on Fort Hill's construction audit experience since 2006, while also allowing institutions to configure and apply their own methodologies. LogiX will compare payment application information with the owner's contract and the supporting records submitted, and any anomalies in each report will be linked back to their source. AI is responsible for assisting in reading and extracting information; the established procedures execute contracts and perform calculations, but professional judgment is still retained by the reviewers and the owner.

Fort Hill LogiX, the founder and registered construction auditor, Ruhtab Sahota stated: "Every time we sit down with another company, the first question is always the same: If we process the payment requests through LogiX, isn't that tantamount to handing over the documents to our competitors? This is why LogiX must operate independently. Now, any owner or consulting team can use it along with their own staff and judgment, and complete a line-by-line review in just minutes, rather than spending days on sampling reviews." Sahota mentioned that LogiX can provide this technical layer, but it will not replace existing human expertise and professional judgment.

Institutions can use LogiX in two ways. Teams that have their own reviewers can operate the platform independently and apply their own methodologies and professional judgment. Teams without reviewers can have LogiX conduct the reviews on their behalf, with each payment application review being signed off by a registered construction auditor. In either case, it is ultimately the client who decides how much to pay. LogiX never holds any payments and does not use client data to train the AI model.

Several consulting firms other than Fort Hill have already piloted this platform. LogiX is aimed at the construction teams and internal audit teams of property owners, as well as the companies that provide advice to them.

Fort Hill LogiX, co-founder; CFA, certificate holder; registered construction auditor; Curt Plyler stated: "The best tools often begin with something that a company creates for itself." Fort Hill will always be LogiX's first customer, but it should never be the only customer. The owner's own team, or a company they trust, should be able to review payment requests line by line just like we do.

Earlier this year, LogiX won awards in two categories at the BUILD Magazine 2026 Construction and Engineering Awards, including "Most Innovative Construction Audit Platform."

Fort Hill created LogiX in order to expand its own construction audit work. Fort Hill separated this technology so that it would not be exclusively used by them alone.

About Fort Hill LogiX Fort Hill LogiX reviews construction payment applications for capital project owners and their advisory teams. It compares each item with the signed contracts and returns any exceptions along with the supporting documents attached. LogiX utilizes AI as an aid, with human supervision in place. When LogiX performs the review, each review result is signed off by a registered construction auditor. Fort Hill Associates developed LogiX and was its first client. fhlogix.com
