Enhance high-impact outcomes for federal and state agencies

McLean, Virginia, October 29th / PRNewswire / -- Appian (Nasdaq ticker: APPN) Today, at Appian Government, the winners of the 2026 U.S. Public Sector Partner Awards were announced. These annual awards are designed to recognize Appian partners for providing proven solutions to critical tasks and for having a positive impact on the U.S. public sector.

Appian, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships and Alliances, Scott Van Valkenburgh stated: "Our partners play a crucial role in helping public sector organizations in the United States to modernize their operations, improve citizen services, and accomplish critical tasks. We congratulate GovCIO, Ignyte Group, and Groundswell on their outstanding achievements and are committed to driving transformative results on the Appian platform."

The winners of the 2026 U.S. Public Sector Partner Awards are as follows:

The Ecosystem Growth Award recognizes partners for their performance in year-over-year growth, including the addition of new businesses, personnel, and capacity investments, as well as expansion into new regions or industries.

GovCIO won the Ecosystem Growth Award for expanding the coverage and capabilities of the Appian platform to a certain administrative department of the US federal government. GovCIO developed a Appian case management platform for modernizing qualification certification, rights, and benefits management.

This solution connected 17 enterprise systems, reducing the time required for processing benefits eligibility by 61% and the time for processing rights by 62%. In the first four months alone, the solution also saved over 10,000 hours of employee time by reducing manual work, allowing consultants to have more time to provide support to patients.

GovCIO has also developed integration with remote patient monitoring solutions, allowing alerts to be directly pushed into clinicians' electronic health record (EHR) workflows. This helps nursing teams identify the need for early intervention and initiate preventive treatment. Faster notification and escalation mechanisms contribute to timely care, reducing the risk of diabetes-related ulcers and amputations.

Ignyte Group was awarded the Ecosystem Growth Award for increasing the adoption rate of the Appian platform and for deploying healthcare solutions in state and federal departments, non-governmental organizations ( NGO ), as well as commercial enterprises. Ignyte facilitated the implementation of strategic projects through case management solutions to modernize processes and improve efficiency. The company also expanded its business within a federal administrative department by delivering an automated care coordination platform that simplified care authorization and referral processes, impacting approximately 8 million citizens.

In addition, Ignyte has also embedded advanced intelligent capabilities into its solutions, including automatic metadata validation, data fabric connectors, and permission tracking agents. These capabilities drive genuine process transformations in highly regulated markets, changing the way citizens access government services.

To support this growth, Ignyte increased the number of chief developers certified in Appian by 71% in 2026, and added 24 new employees to its Appian delivery team.

The Customer Transformation Award is intended to recognize large-scale transformations achieved across the entire organization through the Appian platform.

Groundswell won the Appian Customer Transformation Award for delivering a large-scale enterprise modernization project for a major defense agency. Groundswell An integrated operations platform was deployed on Appian Government Cloud which received authorization with a Impact Level 5 ( IL5 ) from the U.S. Department of War ( DoW ). This modern enterprise platform replaced a legacy system that was in use for 25 years, integrated multiple HR systems, and supported planning, budgeting, and operational execution.

Groundswell uses Appian data fabric to create dynamic relationships and a unified data view between financial management, human resources, and procurement processes. The financial management function provides an integrated view of budget structures and reports, which are connected to relevant procurement, financial, and employee information. The human resources function improves personnel tracking and simplifies the processes that were previously fragmented across different systems.

To date, this solution has saved the organization over 70,000 hours through process automation, data integration, and operational simplification, while also reducing personnel processing time by more than 50%.
