AMD released version 2.4 on the 28th local time, bringing for the first time to Vulkan the super-resolution and frame generation functions related to "Redstone"; it was also stated that Vulkan the game will not automatically upgrade to the machine learning-based FSR new features through the driver.
News from the IT community on October 29th: AMD released version 2.4 of the FSR software development kit on the 28th local time. This is the first "_Redstone_" version to support Vulkan, bringing super-resolution and frame generation capabilities identical to those of DirectX 12 to this graphics API.
AMD mentions that games currently using AMD FSR 3.1 for image scaling or frame generation will not automatically upgrade to machine learning-based FSR super-resolution or frame generation through drivers, as these upgrades are only applicable to DirectX 12 games.

FSR SDK 2.4 is also officially supported on the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series of discrete graphics cards and several Ryzen APU. It's important to note that the Radeon RX 6000 and Ryzen AI Max processors use the same Radeon 7000 series INT8 model, while the rest of the APU only support a streamlined and optimized model with less than half the capacity.
