IT News on October 29th: Apple's 2026 MacBook Pro product has started pre-orders today (October 29th) at 1:10 am, with a starting price of 15,999 yuan, and delivery is expected as soon as November 6th.

The new M6 chip's 14-inch MacBook Pro model inherits the design of the previous generation, offering two color options: deep space black and silver, and is equipped with a 3024 x 1964 resolution display and 120Hz refresh rate.

This device is equipped with the M6 chip, featuring a 12-core central processing unit, a 12-core graphics processor, and dual 16-core neural network engines. According to the official statements, the performance of this device's AI component has been increased by up to 13 times compared to the 13-inch M1 model.

At the same time, the new M6 chip's 14-inch MacBook Pro model has a memory bandwidth of 170GB/s, which is an improvement over the 153GB/s of the M5 model. However, this performance enhancement has not been extended to the base model's unified memory configuration of 16GB.

The technical specifications page shows that the option for 16GB of unified memory is still limited to 153GB/s, which is the same as the M5 model; only the brand-new 24GB and 32GB configurations have a faster memory bandwidth of 170GB/s.

For comparison, the MacBook Pro model, which is equipped with the M5 Pro chip, provides a memory bandwidth of 307GB/s, while the model equipped with the M5 Max chip has a memory bandwidth of up to 614GB/s.
