Coca-Cola is expected to release its quarterly financial report before the opening on Tuesday.
According to the market expectations summarized by LSEG, Wall Street analysts expect the company to announce:
- Earnings per share: Expected to be 88 cents.
- Revenues: Expected to be $12.92 billion
In recent quarters, Coca-Cola executives have stated that consumers are under pressure due to inflation and economic uncertainties. However, the beverage giant also noted that consumers are still purchasing its products, ranging from high-end brands such as Fairlife to the regular cola brand.
Competitor PepsiCo did not achieve the same results. Earlier in October, PepsiCo lowered its annual profit forecast due to lagging demand in its home markets. PepsiCo's soda business in the United States was particularly weak in the third quarter of its 2026 fiscal year. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola recently acquired PepsiCo's long-term customer, KFC, in the U.S., which has further exacerbated the challenges faced by PepsiCo.
On an annual basis, Coca-Cola expects its earnings per share to grow by 9% to 10%, with organic revenue increasing by about 5%.
In September, Coca-Cola stated that it will invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030. The related plans include projects previously announced in California, New York, and other states.
Since the beginning of this year, Coca-Cola's stock price has risen by about 32%, exceeding the approximately 12% increase of the S&P 500 index during the same period. The company's market value is about $398 billion.
