Frederick, Maryland, October 23, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- The Big Greek Caf indicates that Westview Promenade has been selected as the second location for this fast-food brand in Frederick County, joining the existing store already opened at Urbana. A grand opening event is scheduled for Friday, October 16th. The Big Greek Caf has signed a lease with Hill Management Services and Inc to rent a 2,500-square-foot space within this outdoor lifestyle shopping center. The shopping center covers a total area of 200,000 square feet and is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 85 ( Buckeystown Pike ) and Crestwood Boulevard. In this transaction, the landlord was represented by Hill Management Services's leasing manager Danielle Bridge and KLNB's Mason Bernstein, while the tenant was represented by KLNB's Michael Ginsburg.

The Big Greek Caf currently operates 15 stores in Maryland and Virginia, with its main products including gyro pita bread; which can be paired with gyro, chicken, pork, fried chickpea balls, and shrimp in Big Greek Bowls; as well as salads with grilled salmon, grilled chicken, and grilled shrimp. The restaurant also offers Big Greek French fries, with ingredients including feta cheese, parsley, and vanilla, as well as yogurt and cucumber sauce. In addition, the restaurant serves a variety of traditional Greek dishes, such as Moussaka, Pasticho, and Spanakopita.

According to Operations Director Niko Kontos, the reason The Big Greek Caf chose Westview Promenade is that it "has a family-oriented environment, cinemas, and a strong customer flow throughout all hours of the day." Kontos added, "We believe that Westview Promenade is the premier shopping center in the Greater Frederick area, with an attractive mix of tenants that can attract business professionals, families, and tourists visiting the region. The presence of several strong anchor stores at Organic Market and others that bring in customers further solidified our decision."

Westview Promenade relies on Regal Westview Cinema and MOM's Organic Market as its main outlets, bringing together a variety of shops, professional and personal services, as well as dine-in and casual fast-food restaurants, including X-Golf, Starbucks Coffee, Cold Stone Creamery, and LOFT. There are over 90,000 consumers living within a 5-mile radius of Westview Promenade, including nearly 35,000 households, with an average household income of over $85,000.

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Danielle Beyrodt stated: "The arrival of The Big Greek Caf has added Mediterranean-style dining to the tenant mix at Westview Promenade. This multi-store concept has been well-received by the communities in each of its restaurant locations. Our team will continue to create a variety of dine-in and casual fast-food dining options, entertainment and beauty services, as well as personal and professional services, to provide consumers with a highly differentiated experience.
