New York, October 23rd / PRNewswire / -- Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (Nasdaq ticker: PURR) ("HSI" or "the Company") announced today that the board of directors has authorized an increase in the previously announced stock repurchase plan from $30 million to a maximum of $100 million. Of this amount, approximately $72 million is still available under the increased authorization, and the termination date of the plan has been extended from December 5, 2026, to October 31, 2027.
The company stated that the increase in the scale of the repurchase plan reflects the board of directors' confidence in the company's long-term capital strategy, and it also provides flexibility for the company to repurchase PURR shares within a broader treasury management framework.
According to this plan, the company may repurchase shares from time to time through public market transactions at the prevailing market prices, or through private negotiated transactions or other methods, all of which must comply with federal securities laws. The actual timing, quantity, and amount of the repurchases will be determined at the discretion of management and depend on various factors, including the market price of HSI common stock, the overall market and economic conditions, as well as applicable legal requirements. The company does not guarantee the number of shares that will be repurchased and may decide at any time, without prior notice, to extend, suspend, or terminate this repurchase plan.
