Nanjing, China, October 22, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Scage Future, a provider of new energy and zero-emission heavy commercial vehicles and electric fuel solutions ("Scage Future" or "the Company") ( Nasdaq : SCAG ), announced today the effective date of the adjustment to the conversion ratio between its previously announced American depositary shares ( ADS ) and common shares ("ADS ratio"), as well as the new CUSIP numbering. The ADS ratio will be adjusted from the current 1 ADS to 1 common share to 1 ADS to 15 common shares ("ADS ratio adjustment"). This ADS ratio adjustment will take effect on October 27, 2026 ("effective date").

For the holders of ADS related to Scage Future, the effect of the ADS ratio adjustment is the same as the reverse split of ADS at a ratio of 1 to 15. On the effective date, for each 15 existing shares of ADS held by a ADS holder, they will be entitled to receive 1 new share of ADS. This exchange will occur automatically, and the ADS shares held at that time will be cancelled. Citibank (Citibank, N.A.) will issue new ADS shares as the depository bank ("depository bank") for the company's ADS project. Holders of ADS do not need to take any action regarding this ADS ratio adjustment.

The newly added ADS related to the ratio adjustment with ADS will not issue fractional shares. On the contrary, the fractional rights of the newly added ADS will be aggregated by the depository bank and then sold. The net cash proceeds from the sale of these fractional ADS rights (after deducting fees, taxes, and expenses) will be distributed by the depository bank to the relevant ADS holders.

The company stated that the adjustment of the ADS ratio will not affect the underlying common shares corresponding to Scage Future, and no common shares will be issued or cancelled as a result of this adjustment. The ADS of Scage Future will continue to trade on the NASDAQ Global Market under the code “SCAG”. In relation to this adjustment of the ADS ratio, the CUSIP code of ADS will be changed from 80590A105 to 80590A204, effective from the date of implementation.

Due to the adjustment of the ADS ratio, it is expected that the trading price of ADS will increase proportionally. However, the company does not guarantee that the adjusted trading price of ADS will be equal to or higher than 15 times the trading price of ADS before the adjustment.

Tether Investing in Bolivia: USDT to Move from Cross-Border Prepaid Services to Restaurants, Cash Registers, and Local Banks
On October 21st, Tether announced that it would lead the seed round of financing for Bolivian fintech company Peso, with the goal of expanding USDT payment infrastructure in Latin America. The focus of the news is not on the amount of financing—no specific figure was provided in the official announcement—but rather on the various daily payment links that Peso aims to connect: users hold and transfer USDT within applications, merchants receive payments through digital services or cash registers, and funds then flow through the local banking system. Truly connecting these links is much more complex than simply adding a new token to a wallet.

Circle requires that USDC铸造 and redemption orders be matched first: Match Auctions change the fees, not the price of stablecoins
On October 22, Circle introduced Circle Match: Eligible Circle Mint customers can match minting and redemption requests for USDC in hourly auctions. The matching orders on the minting side receive rebates, while the redemption side pays settlement fees within the specified rules. At first glance, it seems like a new stablecoin trading market, but the legal terms of Circle draw clear boundaries: Match determine the fees and rebates for matching orders, but do not set the price of USDC, nor do they alter the holders' right to exchange one USDC for one dollar after deducting the corresponding fees according to the applicable terms. What it attempts to optimize is the flow of funds in and out of the issuance system.

Japan's core CPI rose 2.1% year-on-year in September: Prices back above 2%, we can't just look at one "core" figure
On October 23, the Statistics Bureau of Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications released the national consumer price index for September 2026. Using 2025 as the base year of 100, the composite index was 102.2, showing a year-on-year increase of 2.1%; the composite index excluding fresh food was 102.3, also with a year-on-year increase of 2.1%; and the index excluding both fresh food and energy was 102.8, with a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. Although these three figures appear similar, they answer different questions: the first figure considers all prices included in the basket, the second reduces fluctuations in fresh food prices, and the third further eliminates the impact of energy costs. If one single figure is chosen to describe inflation in Japan, it is easy to overlook these structural differences.

The median weekly salary for full-time employees in the United States is $1,232: a nominal increase, but it does not necessarily indicate an improvement in purchasing power.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released data on "usual weekly earnings" for the third quarter of 2026 on October 21st, which showed that the median weekly wage for full-time employees with wages and salaries was $1,232, representing a nominal year-over-year increase of 1.5%. During the same period, the Consumer Price Index rose by 3.5% year-over-year. By comparing these two increases, one can see an obvious pressure: while the wage figures for typical full-time employees have increased, the rate of increase has not kept up with overall prices. This comparison cannot be interpreted as a decrease in everyone's actual income, nor can it be equated with the disposable income of all residents; it describes the relationship between the median income of the surveyed population and the changes in overall prices.

Trump claimed he once wanted Google Maps to rename the Atlantic Ocean as "Trump Ocean," but Pichai refused
U.S. President Donald Trump said he had considered renaming the Atlantic Ocean and contacted Google Maps regarding this, but Sundar Pichai of Google advised him against making such a request, noting that oceans span multiple countries. Google did not respond to Fortune's request for comment on this matter. The report also reviewed Trump's previous attempts to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the “American Gulf” and Lake Ontario as the “American Lake,” as well as Google Maps’ subsequent adjustments to the names displayed for American users.
