Tenuis joined Apple 25 years ago as a member of the product design team and has gained extensive experience in the field of industrial design over the years. In an interview, Tenuis believes that what makes Apple unique is that both hardware and software designers understand engineering, and engineers also have a deep understanding of design. This cross-disciplinary collaboration is an important foundation for the Apple product experience.

In Tenu's view, the concept that "design is how it works" has not become outdated. He states that as new technologies emerge, product opportunities and their specific forms will continue to evolve, but the collaborative approach within Apple, which is design-centric and based on respect for users, should not change.
This interview coincides with the eve of the release of Apple's new devices iPhone and Duo. These products are positioned by Apple as representatives that combine practicality with "ingenious creativity"; according to reports, the pre-order demand for iPhone and Duo is exceptionally strong, with the first batch of products scheduled to be delivered on October 23rd, while the delivery time for new orders may not come until the end of January 2027.
Focusing on the competition surrounding AI, Tenuus responded that Apple will not simply chase technological trends, but rather prefer to continue with a focus on "design first, experience first" approach, emphasizing usability, security, and practical value in real-life scenarios.
