U.S. stock index futures rose slightly, following a rebound in tech stocks on October 19th.
The Nasdaq Composite Index performed the strongest at the start of this week's trading, with tech stocks rebounding after last week's sell-off related to artificial intelligence. This index, which has a high proportion of tech stocks, rose by 1.11% on that day and closed at 26,430.89 points.
The benchmark S&P 500 index rose 0.41% on the day, closing at 7,690.73 points; the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 51,966.03 points, down 0.07%. Thanks to Intel (INTC), Supermicro Semiconductor (AMD), and Micron Technology (MU) all seeing gains of 2% or more after a sharp decline last week, the Nasdaq index was boosted.

In the futures market, the S&P 500 futures rose by 0.10%, the Dow Jones futures rose by 0.11%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index futures rose by 0.13%.
CoreWeave Continues to Face Pressure
In addition to tech stocks and artificial intelligence trading, investors and traders are still paying attention to the oil market as Iran attacks more vessels in the Persian Gulf, while Ukraine and Russia are also attacking each other's energy infrastructure. West Texas Intermediate crude oil ( WTI ) closed at $103.66 per barrel, and the international benchmark Brent crude oil closed at $109.18 per barrel.
