IT News on October 17th: Technology media Android Headline reported yesterday (October 16th) that Microsoft's job platform LinkedIn (LinkedIn) is accelerating its transition from a "digital resume platform" to a professional social platform for freelancers and content creators.

As cited in a blog post by IT, LinkedIn will launch a creator console, a system for dividing revenue from pre-video ads, and a feature that allows for one-on-one paid consultations to be provided directly on personal homepages.
Among them, the creator console will help users analyze content performance, identify growth opportunities, and explore monetization pathways; video creators can publish videos natively at LinkedIn, and if they meet the criteria, they can earn revenue shares through pre-roll ads.
In addition to monetization tools, LinkedIn also enhances the networking experience. Users can design personalized electronic business cards and add them to their mobile digital wallets; premium members can use private personal profile notes to record key information about contacts.
The platform is still testing a "network of contacts" information flow in the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Australia, displaying only content from direct contacts and followed accounts to reduce interference from algorithmic recommendations. In addition, posters can pin useful comments to improve the quality of discussions.
