On the evening of October 15th, it was reported that recently, Jike Electric Vehicles, a subsidiary of Chunfeng Power, has faced difficulties in normal sales and license plate issuance due to the suspension of a large number of new national standard mandatory product certifications (hereinafter referred to as: CCC).
On the JD.com online platform, all Jike new national standard electric bicycles have recently been taken off the shelves and are no longer available for sale. According to the representatives of several Jike physical stores, as mentioned in the BUG section, "Due to the 'expiration' of the CCC certificate for Jike electric bicycles, it has been impossible to register these bicycles with a license plate for nearly a month, and they were also taken off the online platform four days ago (on October 10th)."
Sina Technology learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that on October 9th, the day before the large-scale offline of Jike's online channels, more than 20 Jike electric vehicle CCC certificates were suspended or revoked. Most of these suspended certificates had only been issued for about a month, with a suspension period of 3 months.
For the vast majority of car owners, the suspension of the CCC certificate for 3 months means that the newly purchased Jike electric bicycles may not be able to be registered properly, posing a significant challenge to their travel arrangements.
