IT News on October 14th: Apple has today pushed out the watchOS Developer Preview Version 27.2 to Apple Watch users, with an internal version number of 24S5112a. This update comes 7 days after the last release on Beta / RC.

watchOS 27.2 and iOS 27.2 are jointly testing the new version of Health that Apple showcased at its September launch event, including the Insights and Longevity tabs, as well as the Readiness Score (readiness score) based on Apple Watch data. With the official release approaching, it is expected that there will not be any major new features in Beta; the focus will be on fixing issues and improving stability and performance.

iOS 27.2 Beta 4 It is reported that the redesigned health feature has been removed, but watchOS 27.2 Beta 4 is still in the testing phase for related health experiences; Apple has not yet clarified in what form or which version this feature will officially be launched.

Beta versions may experience high power consumption, application incompatibility, synchronization issues, or data risks. It is not recommended to install them on the main Apple Watch. If you wish to test, it is best to use a backup device and complete the iPhone / Watch backup in advance.
