News from the home of IT on October 14th: He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xpeng Group and CEO, announced today that in Paris, driving a Xpeng NGP, he successfully completed the challenge of the Arc de Triomphe roundabout, which is known as "the most difficult roundabout in the world".

Reports say that the roundabout has no lane markings or traffic lights, with 12 main roads intersecting here. Drivers have to navigate a complex flow of traffic, comply with France's "give way to the right" rule, and also avoid pedestrians taking photos in the middle of the road, making it a quite challenging situation.

He Xiaopeng stated that from the localized acceptance in Germany in July, to the complex paths with crisscrossing water networks in the Netherlands, and then to the "world's most difficult roundabout," Arc de Triomphe, the difficulty level has progressively increased. Xpeng's NGP model has been continuously honed in different countries, under various traffic regulations and road conditions, and its generalization ability has also continued to improve through actual combat, becoming stronger and stronger.
According to previous reports from the IT website, on the eve of the Paris Motor Show, Liu Xianming, the person in charge of Xpeng Motors' General Intelligence Center, revealed in an interview that the company successfully fine-tuned and adapted its intelligent driving system from one European country to another within about two weeks.
Liu Xianming introduced that Xpeng is currently in close communication with European regulatory authorities and is maintaining the original plan to officially launch its intelligent navigation assisted driving system ( NGP ) in Europe in 2027.
