News from the home of IT on October 12th: Xpeng Motors made its debut at the Paris Motor Show today. In addition to launching the Xpeng G9L model, Xpeng also announced news regarding autonomous driving and humanoid robots.

In the field of humanoid robots, recently, Xpeng's robot production line was officially put into operation. The world's first advanced general-purpose humanoid robot completed automated final assembly and independently walked off the production line for its debut. Reports indicate that this marks a crucial leap for Xpeng Robotics from research and development to mass production, taking an important step towards scaled manufacturing.
According to the introduction, Xpeng IRON possesses multi-modal interaction capabilities, including recognizing the faces of different individuals, remembering the context of conversations, and being able to switch between Chinese, English, and German languages.

According to the plan, Xpeng will achieve mass production of humanoid robots by the end of 2026, start deliveries in the first half of 2027, initially deploying them in commercial scenarios such as stores and shopping malls, and gradually expand their use to industrial and household settings.
In the field of autonomous driving, Xpeng claims that its second-generation VLA has achieved a capability continuum from L2 to L4. The same model has been deployed on Xpeng's Robotaxi, which features L4 level autonomous driving.
Recently, Xpeng Robotaxi officially adopted the Chinese name “Xpeng Youyou” and the English name “XPENG YOYO”. Its car-hailing mini-program has also been launched simultaneously and will gradually be opened to the public for testing, officially marking a new phase of user-operated services and commercial exploration.
