Nomura warns that U.S. stock indices are severely distorted; ten stocks contribute 70% of the S&P's gainsNomura Cross-Asset Strategist Charlie McElligott warns that the S&P 500 has been virtually stagnant for nearly two months, but most of its constituent stocks have entered a technical adjustment phase. The calmness of the index is mainly due to an extremely concentrated market structure. The report states that ten stocks have contributed 70% of the S&P 500's 23% increase since March 30th.
