U.S. stock index futures rose slightly after mixed gains and losses on Wall Street on the previous trading day.
On October 8th, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 1.25% to close at 27,193.34 points. Previously, new details regarding the financial situation of OpenAI surprised investors and put downward pressure on stocks related to artificial intelligence (AI) construction.

The benchmark S&P 500 index fell 0.47% to close at 7,765.36 points, dragged down by large tech stocks such as NVIDIA ( Nvidia, NVDA ). The Dow Jones Industrial Average, on the other hand, rose 51.77 points, or 0.1%, to close at 51,231.64 points.
In after-hours trading, the futures market saw a slight increase. Dow Jones futures rose by 0.08%, S&P 500 futures rose by 0.12%, and Nasdaq futures rose by 0.26%.
Brent crude oil rose by 4% to $104.28 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil ($WTI) increased by 3.64% and closed at $91.49 per barrel.
