According to the data marked with Lookonchain, mining company MARA Holdings transferred approximately 996 bitcoins, worth 81.13 million US dollars, to an address identified as belonging to Galaxy Digital.

However, this transfer alone cannot confirm whether Galaxy Digital has actually carried out the sale.

MARA used to focus mainly on Bitcoin mining, but has later expanded into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure. The company has begun to sell its considerable Bitcoin reserves in order to strengthen its balance sheet and support a broader strategy. In March, MARA sold 15,133 Bitcoins, worth approximately $1.1 billion, which was mainly used to fund the repurchase of convertible debt.

According to the historical holding data of Bitcoin Treasuries, MARA, which is headquartered in Hallandale Beach in Florida, held 53,822 bitcoins on February 26, and this number decreased to 35,577 by August 7. Its bitcoin holdings were reduced by 18,245 units between February and August.
