Fintech service provider launches its first self-service network, utilizing DN Series cash recycling machines to extend its “digital-first” approach beyond smartphones.

Canton North, Ohio, USA, October 8, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Diebold Nixdorf (New York Stock Exchange ticker: DBD) today announced that stc pay Bahrain will extend customers' access to their digital financial services to physical locations through DN Series ® Cash Circulators and DN Vynamic ® software. This agreement represents Diebold Nixdorf's first major collaboration in the Middle East with a telecommunications-affiliated financial services provider, demonstrating that its solutions can support emerging financial service models that go beyond traditional banking. The announcement was made at the Fintech Forward 2026 event held in Bahrain.

For stc, pay, and Bahrain, this approach that combines physical self-service with digital capabilities will offer consumers more choices regarding when, where, and how to conduct transactions. At the same time, it supports the vision of the Central Bank of Bahrain to create a modern, innovative society with more optimized cash usage. stc, pay, and Bahrain are local, innovative, and user-friendly mobile wallets in Bahrain, which belong to stc and Bahrain.

stc pay Bahrain will deploy DN Series cash cycle machines at their various outlets, some of which will be equipped with Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) kits. Unlike traditional ATM, these devices will serve as physical entrances to the stc pay Bahrain digital ecosystem, allowing customers to seamlessly switch between cash, bank cards, mobile wallets, and digital services. Customers can perform a variety of transactions, including wallet top-ups, eSIM account activations, domestic and international remittances, bill payments, gift card purchases, transportation card top-ups, charitable donations, as well as handling cash receipts for small and medium-sized enterprises.

DN Vynamic Software will connect these entity touchpoints with the digital services and payment infrastructure of stc, pay, and Bahrain. Vynamic Transaction Middleware is a cloud-native platform driven by API, which can orchestrate transactions across various channels and facilitates the introduction of new services as consumer needs change. Vynamic Terminal Driving supports features such as contactless payments, mobile wallets, and real-time account access.

DN Series devices are supported by DN AllConnectSM Data Engine. This engine utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to maximize the performance and availability of the device fleet, while working in conjunction with Vynamic View software for round-the-clock monitoring and management of the device group.

Local deployment and technical support will be carried out in collaboration with Almoayed Group WLL, our licensed partner in Bahrain, under the coordination of Diebold Nixdorf.

stc pay Bahrain CEO Metin Zavrak stated: "Expanding our network beyond mobile applications is an important step in enabling our financial services to benefit communities more broadly. By introducing physical self-service terminals, we offer customers more choices and flexibility in how they access and use our services, while also expanding our reach in Bahrain. Our collaboration with Diebold Nixdorf allows us to provide a safe, reliable, and convenient experience, further strengthening our commitment to promoting financial inclusivity."

Diebold Nixdorf General Manager of the Middle East region, Habib Hanna stated: "Our collaboration with stc, pay, and Bahrain demonstrates that an innovative, technology-driven fintech company can leverage our self-service technologies and software to establish a physical presence, reach more consumers, and provide a broader range of transaction services. DN Series is transcending traditional ATM to evolve into a highly interconnected transaction hub that can bring digital financial services into the real world."
