Reston, Virginia, October 7th / PRNewswire / -- General Dynamics ( NYSE : GD ) announced today that the company's board of directors has elected the current president, Danny Deep, to serve as CEO, effective January 1, 2027. Deep will succeed Phebe Novakovic, who, after serving as CEO since 2013, will take on the role of Executive Chairman.

Deep has been working at the company for 25 years, during which time he has held various positions with progressively increasing responsibilities.
