London, October 7, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Acuity Analytics has acquired Continuus, a data consulting firm based in the United States and specializing in financial services. This acquisition has added 37 new professionals and expanded Acuity Analytics's capabilities in data strategy, governance, engineering, and cloud data platforms.

Continuus primarily serves asset management companies and other financial institutions, assisting them in formulating enterprise-level data strategies, establishing governance frameworks, and delivering large-scale cloud data transformation and engineering projects.

This acquisition has strengthened Acuity Analytics's business presence in the United States. The U.S. is the company's largest market, and it has also provided the company with an experienced local team to complement its global delivery network.

At the time of this transaction, financial institutions were increasing their investment in modern data infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements, improve decision-making, and promote a broader deployment of AI. As companies moved from the experimental phase to expanding AI across the entire organization, the quality, governance, and accessibility of data became increasingly important.

By combining the professional capabilities of Continuus with the broader technical capabilities of Acuity Analytics, the group will provide end-to-end services that cover data strategy, governance, analytics, operations, and AI-enabled business processes.

Acuity Analytics CEO Rob King indicates:

What attracted us to acquire Continuus is their profound understanding of financial services, as well as their ability to transform data strategies into tangible business results for customers.

As enterprises modernize their data environments and expand the scale of AI projects, they need partners who can combine technical expertise with strong governance and delivery capabilities. Continuus possesses these capabilities.

"This acquisition strengthens our presence in the United States and further enhances our ability to help customers unleash value from their data while confidently adopting new technologies."

In addition to technical capabilities, Continuus also brings expertise in project delivery and data governance. As financial institutions move complex data and AI projects into production environments, these skills are becoming increasingly important.

Acuity Analytics AI, the Chief Delivery Officer for Data and Digital Business, and Stewart Smythe indicate:

Customers are making substantial investments in cloud data platforms, but technology alone is not enough. Success depends on whether there is an appropriate operational model, governance framework, and delivery capabilities in place.

“Continuus has established a good reputation for helping financial institutions to address these challenges. After the merger, we will be able to offer our customers a wider range of capabilities, from strategic consulting to implementation, analysis, and AI enabling transformation.”

This acquisition is part of Acuity Analytics's ongoing investment in AI, digitalization, and data, supporting its evolution from a financial services research and analysis business to an organization that is technology-driven and combines industry expertise with advanced digital capabilities.

In 2024, Acuity Analytics acquired PPA Group, enhancing its data capabilities and machine learning expertise in the field of commercial lending. In 2025, the company acquired Ascent, a digital transformation expert driven by AI, significantly expanding its data and technology services division in Europe. The addition of Continuus further strengthened these capabilities and broadened the group's ability to support financial institutions globally.

Today, Acuity Analytics's business philosophy focuses on using technology and talent to solve practical business problems, combining credible data, professional AI capabilities, and digital delivery to create measurable results for customers.

Continuus CEO Matt Moeser indicates:

Since the establishment of Continuus, we have been dedicated to helping financial institutions extract more value from their data and technology investments.

"By joining Acuity, our team will gain a broader range of capabilities, deeper industry expertise, and a global platform for growth. We are excited about what this means for both our employees and our customers, and look forward to creating even more opportunities together."
