Stamford, Connecticut, USA, October 2, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Aircastle Limited and its subsidiaries (“Aircastle” or “the Company”) announced today that the company has completed a new $240 million unsecured term loan with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation of Japan ( Japan Bank for International Cooperation ). The loan also includes an additional $160 million in financing provided by MUFG Bank, Ltd, and Mizuho Bank, Ltd as the lead arrangers of the syndicate, with seven other lending institutions also participating.
The financing period is five years, and the company plans to use the loan proceeds for aircraft acquisitions.
Aircastle Chief Financial Officer Roy Chandran stated: "Despite the fluctuations in the macroeconomic environment, this financing still offers very attractive terms and reflects our ability to access a broader range of banking financing channels thanks to our unique equity structure with Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni Corporation) and Sumitomo Mitsui Leasing Co., Ltd. (Mizuho Leasing Co, Ltd.). Diversified sources of capital support us in acquiring aircraft efficiently as we are expanding our fleet, which consists of aircraft in high demand from the market."
